The relationship between mother and daughter can take many forms. We are fortunate that, despite the twenty-five-year gap between us, we are united not only by our surnames but also by our attitudes toward life and, most importantly, our love of art. The connection between two generations in the field of creativity offers endless possibilities for evaluating unburdened youthful enthusiasm and mature life experience. You can see the result of this collaboration in our work.

Our joint brand, PARSI DESIGN, reveals the behind the scenes of two creative approaches that intersect in terms of materials and means of expression. We both enjoy designing jewelry. Darja leans toward fashion design, and Kamila is undeniably a glass artist. Another shared theme is the creation of animated characters and puppets.

WHERE WE COME FROM

Few people can say they have been to paradise. We are fortunate to live and work in Bohemian Paradise. The historical context of this area in the so-called Crystal Valley offers inexhaustible sources of inspiration and production techniques for jewelry and glassmaking.

Our work draws on hot glass processing using a glass burner, a technology typical of the Železný Brod region and its surroundings, which even after several centuries of existence has not exhausted its portfolio of possibilities and still allows us to seek and find new ways of creative expression.

Our close connection to the beautiful surrounding nature leads us to think about how and from what we create, which is why all our clothing and accessories are made exclusively from sustainable materials.

Jewelry for interiors in the form of glass decorations, lighting fixtures, and original functional glassware are also traditional commodities of the Bohemian Paradise and are woven into our work in the form of original objects and installations full of light and color.

The motivation to establish our PARSI DESIGN brand incorporates all these influences and creates a comprehensive range of everything beautiful and pleasant for each of us and the space we share together.
